Tom served as the Chief Digital Strategist for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s 2015 federal election campaign, as well as his campaign for leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada. Before that, Tom helped build IBM’s Toronto Innovation Center and worked as a Policy Advisor to the Director of IBM’s Business Partner Channel.
Before joining Data Sciences, Sean led the business development, platform and partnerships teams for Facebook in Canada. Prior to that, Sean was Vice President of Product at Points.com. He’s also co-founded two companies — Fort Nocs Networks, one of Canada’s leading application managed services companies, and Think Dynamics, an early cloud computing platform.
Sean is a data expert, having served as Director of Data and Analytics for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s 2015 federal election campaign and helping institute a new data-centric approach to voter engagement. Prior to that, Sean received his PhD in the department of Human Genetics at McGill University in Montreal, where his research focused on the genetic determinants of the immune response to viral infection.
Before he joined DS, Sebastien led the digital team of one of Canada’s leading public relations firms. A political science graduate and experienced digital specialist, he leverages his varied expertise to advise clients in complex business environments such as healthcare, politics, retail or finance.
Phil was Director of Digital Operations for the winning Trudeau 2015 campaign, and led digital fundraising at the Liberal Party of Canada from 2012 to 2017 during which time he grew annual channel revenue tenfold. An MA in History with a background in journalism, Phil brings over 13 years of project and production management experience in politics, publications, and the private sector.
Darrell is a unique mix of scientist, communicator and designer. He started his career with Ph.D. in Chemistry from Queen’s University, where he learned the value of clear communication and sound experimental design. He then moved into design, and eventually digital communications, working directly with several clients across Canada and the US. He then had the opportunity to further develop his political acumen working with Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada in several roles over four years, and returned to act as Director of Digital Content during the 2019 federal election.
Jenn loves solving problems. From a nightly sudoku puzzle to market segmentation, she’s passionate about using data to answer business questions, drive decisions, and create efficiencies. Prior to DS, this passion for discovery led her to pursue a PhD in Human Genetics from McGill University. There, she modelled the relationship between genetic variants and the severity of infectious myocardial disease.
Mat was the Videographer for the Liberal Party of Canada for five years, including during Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s 2015 and 2019 federal election campaigns. Between elections he took on the role of Creative Director, and then Director of Digital Tour. A Creative Writing graduate, Mat has turned his interest in movies into a portfolio of work focused on clear, engaging storytelling.
Megan is a scientist with expertise in the field of experimental psychology. Her passion for behavioral research helps her identify opportunities to achieve client’s objectives using innovative approaches. She holds a PhD from McGill University where she achieved expertise in the areas of group identity, human motivation and intergroup relations.
Nadya has helped transform many large-scale, national organizations to successful, data-driven operations. She has also managed the central support teams and databases for several Canadian elections, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s 2015 federal election campaign and Kathleen Wynne’s 2014 provincial election campaign.
Stuart is a digital expert, having worked across the technology, telecom, and media spectrum. Since his earliest days in advertising, his passion has been facilitating digital engagement between companies and their customers. He has a deep understanding of social media, having spent time at both Facebook and Snapchat, and expertise in direct-response marketing and digital advertising technology.
