Digital Content Strategist

Summary
We are looking for a remote, full time contractor, content strategist based in Asia-Pacific who wants to learn and contribute to our growing digital team at DS. Working on social awareness advertising for our client in Asia, this position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in copywriting, graphic design, animation, marketing and advertising digital strategy. Reporting to the Creative Lead, we need someone with the skills to produce quality content, while collaborating with the account manager and other members of the team, to plan campaign strategies and develop digital content standards.
Job Duties
- Develop a brief by copywriting content and executing graphics and animations within established brand guidelines, creative direction and best practices for Meta, Google, email, and other platforms.
- Create original content and graphic executions relying on brand assets as well as stock images and illustrations.
- Research and expand upon the existing brand with new content and design proposals.
- Collaborate to improve/refine work and develop new skills related to ad copywriting or ad campaign strategy development.
- Coordinate and communicate with other members of the DS team in video calls or via Slack to meet deadlines and update projects on Trello, to ensure work is moved through the pipeline to completion.
- Be proactive in developing new skills, finding new tools, keeping up with trends and suggesting innovative strategies that meet the client’s needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years working in content creation and design or comparable experience demonstrated in a portfolio of work.
- Graphic design skills working with the Adobe Suite (mainly Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects) and a general comfort around learning new tools.
- Strong English proficiency, with demonstrable skills in copywriting and proofreading.
- Working understanding of the design specs and guidelines of digital ad platforms.
- Be a flexible team player who is willing to take on various types of projects.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot, multi-task and problem-solve.
- Great attention to detail.
- Self-motivated who loves learning and is eager to contribute to a growing team.
- Familiarity with UX/UI is an asset.
