Data Sciences has an opening for an Account Manager to join our team.
This exciting and unique career opportunity is for a seasoned strategic marketing and sales professional, who holds an expert understanding digital marketing and market research fundamentals.
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, a successful candidate will serve in a client lead capacity and collaborate with teams to lead project execution, manage client relationships, develop program plans, and deliver excellent presentations on behalf of the company to the client.
Your passion for strategic planning coupled with your knowledge of performance marketing and market research, will be viewed as evidence of the ability to execute strategies which propel our client’s business forward. We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently across non-profit and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment between client expectations and project execution.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and oversee marketing strategies that drive measurable client success.
- Internal & External Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Content & Documentation: Draft and review memos, reports, and content briefs to support client initiatives.
- Project & Budget Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, billing, and client reporting to ensure efficient and cost-effective program delivery.
- Business Development & Growth: Support prospecting efforts, contribute to new business strategies, and assist in proposal and presentation development.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead internal and external teams in executing multi-faceted marketing programs and initiatives.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct industry research, stakeholder assessments, and competitive benchmarking to inform client strategies.
- Proposal & RFP Support: Assist the Head of Business Development with RFP submissions and new client pitches through research, brainstorming, and strategic input.
Candidate Qualifications
Education/Experience:

- 2-5 + years of progressive marketing and/or agency experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business
- Knowledge of digital campaigns (Meta, Google, Linkedin), analytics, and/or market research and tools available to facilitate performance management
- Strong acute business acumen to comprehend business drivers, challenges and potential obstacles
- Intuitive business awareness to recognize & assess competitive activity then recommend effective countermeasures
- Proven ability to build strong relationship with clients and maintain effective relationships with all departments within the agency
- Superior writing/editing skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex content and write for a public audience
- Strong project and budget management skills, ability to meet deadlines, delegate, and prioritize deliverables
- Skilled in project management, working with teams, and client service
- Ability to manage several tasks at once with strong leadership and presentation skills.
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong team player with an open-mind and committed to excellence.
