Summary

We are looking for an experienced accounts manager who holds three or more years of direct experience developing leading strategy for market research or related, who has excellent writing and presentation skills, and is comfortable with quantitative methods and statistics.

We’re looking for someone to join our diverse team in Montreal to assist in the development and execution of market and political research studies, online experiments and other research projects. We are looking for an experienced accounts manager who holds three or more years of direct experience developing leading strategy for market research or related, who has excellent writing and presentation skills, and is comfortable with quantitative methods and statistics. The right fit is someone who is a highly motivated and organized communicator willing to take on a supervisory role at a fast-growing company. We need someone who can collaborate with our VP and Head of Research, oversee the research strategy efforts of the department, and review and organize the work of research analysts. This person will closely contribute to the growth of the research department and be in direct contact with our diverse and international clientele. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity; we want you to grow and learn as much as possible and we believe this is the best place for that to happen.

Job Duties:

  • Meeting with clients and establishing research goals and strategy
  • Determining the right research approach for each specific project (sample size, research methods, etc)
  • Overseeing the development of research instruments and assets
  • Coordinating with other teams to complete projects and put together compelling research reports
  • Managing technical performance of assigned resources
  • Presenting research to clients and other non-technical audiences
  • Overseeing the quality of the strategy, approach, and research reports produced by research analysts
  • Attend weekly client meetings
  • Implementing best practices and creating training materials and guidelines related to research strategy for the department
  • Training collaborators
  • Carry out other special projects as required

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of market research experience required
  • Expert English writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience conducting different types of research projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing research strategy
  • Experience working with clients
  • Experience presenting research to different types of audiences
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working as a member of a team
  • Adaptability: you don’t get flustered when new challenges are thrown your way
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Experience with quantitative methods/statistical methods
  • Understanding of statistical principles, particularly with respect to survey design and interpretation

Assets:

  • Knowledge of R programming language
  • Experience related to politics or campaigning
